Who Must Register for UAE Corporate Tax?
Every juridical person incorporated or established in the UAE — including mainland companies, Free Zone entities, and foreign companies with a Permanent Establishment in the UAE — must register for Corporate Tax with the FTA via the EmaraTax portal. Natural persons conducting business in the UAE with annual turnover exceeding AED 1 million are also subject to Corporate Tax. Failure to register on time attracts a penalty of AED 10,000. UAE Corporate Tax Rates
Under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, the following Corporate Tax rates apply:
- 0% — on Taxable Income up to AED 375,000
- 9% — on Taxable Income exceeding AED 375,000

When did UAE Corporate Tax come into effect?

Who is subject to UAE Corporate Tax?
